Gokukoku no Brynhildr เป็นเรื่องราวของ Murakami Ryouta ที่ในวัยเด็กมีเพื่อนสาวที่เขาเรียกว่า Kuroneko ซึ่งเธอสนใจในเรื่องเอเลี่ยนมาก วันหนึ่งเธอได้ตัดสินใจจะพาเขาไปพบกับเอเลี่ยน แต่แล้วก็เกิดอุบัติเหตุทำให้ทั้งคู่ตกลงมาจากเขื่อน ซึ่งตัว Ryouta รอดมาได้อย่างหวุดหวิด แต่น่าเศร้าที่ Kuroneko ต้องเสียชีวิตไปจากอุบัตินั้น เป็นเหตุให้เขาตัดสินใจพิสูจน์เรื่องเอเลี่ยนเพื่อเป็นการขอโทษต่อ Kuroneko
